Government

According to the Constitution of the RT, the Government of Tajikistan is the supreme executive body of the Republic, led by the Head of the Government - President of the country.
The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan consists of Prime Minister, his first deputy and other deputies, ministers, chairpersons of the state committees.
The Government ensures an effective leadership in the economic, social, and spiritual spheres, implementation of law, the Majlisi Oli decisions, edicts and decrees of President of Tajikistan (article 73).
President's representative - chairman of an oblast, city, district - exercises local executive authority (article 78).
Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO) is an integral and constituent part of the Republic of Tajikistan (article 81).
