Established background of the enterprise has an indissoluble ties with the heroic period of Vakhsh building the end of 30 years of the XX
centure. In 1937, complete of erection of arterial Vakhsh channel
vakhshbuilders began to construct an automatic repair enterprise, a precur-sor
of
current OJSC "Transformator" in Kurgan-Tube.
In 1959 the Government of the republic took a decision to reconstruct Kurgan-Tube auto-matic repair
company, reprofiling its on output of transformers and other electrical
manufactures.
Translition to the output of transformers become a crucial moment in all history of the enterprise for the collective of the company and there have produced first 50 tajik transformers at the end of 1960
year.
On the first stage the company produced transformers series of TMA and
TCMA, and since 1965 there were mastered transformers sort of TM-160, TM-250, TM-400. Simulta-neously since 1966 to 1968 the collective of the company has been manufacturing complete transformer substations sort of KTII-160, 250, 400.
Since 1968 the company moved to the output of transformers of small capacity series of
TT, measuring transformers sort HOM-10, IOIE-6, and IOIE-10.
The factory is fit out by machines of the latest technology in a number of shops and sectors as
tool, pressing, welding, mechanical, purchasing, galvanic covering and laboratories manufacture details and units of
transformers.
Besides the factory produces consumer goods from plastic and other wastes of
production.
Over the last years the company became a collective member of international organizations on economic and science-technical
cooperation in the field of electrotechnical industry "INTERELECTRO", actively collaborates with OSC
"VIT" (Ukrainian research, design and technological transformer
institute) and leading Scientific Investigation Institute of energy and high voltage technique of Russia and other countries of
CIS.
The Complete Transformer Substations (CTSs) are intended for receiving, transformation and distribution of three-phase transmission line with 50 Hz frequency in a system with earthed midpoint wire on the side of lowest voltage/
CTSs by their climatic conditions of utilization match the requirement of Y category of allocation 1according to GOST (State Standard) provided that:
- height of installation under the sea level should not exceed 2000 meters;
- environment is not explosive, does not contain explosive dust, aggressive gases of chemical production in concentration that could destruct metals and insulation.
